The difference between 'Canadian French' and 'European French' is the same as the difference between American English and British English,i.e., it's mainly an accent difference.

yes learn the pronounciation of certain letters. french and spanish are both latin languages and both are very similiar which is a great advantage to you. There is some differences between French in Canada and Europe.

Yeah. The public library in Long Beach, California, offers all or most of the Rosetta Stone language courses on line. You should be able to access them for nothing anywhere in the country once you register there. I am not sure of the URL of the Long Beach Public Library. I think it is , but I may be wrong. You should be able to find it easily, however, if you google "Long Beach Public Library."

There is a good site that offers tuiton for 60 Euros per year, I think. I liked it, when I was searching for French lessons.
I can’t remember the name.

Honestly, I find that the language is best learned spoken... it's the easiest way to pick it up
